I'm so jealous, Jeff! Multiple grosbeaks, a chickadee, AND a woodpecker all at the same time?!

lol to funny Melissa, yesterday there was a bunch of different stuff, The grosbeaks stayed for most of the day. As you can see my little hairy dude didnt now what to do with all those intruders on his private feeder lol. :p

I always like this time of year for the northern birds. Makes for an interesting time shooting birds.

Today was the first time I was able to get close to a Greater Yellowlegs. I had no idea how tiny they are! :-)

This is the first time Ive ever seen a Fairy wren stand straight upright on its legs!...And another wren did the same shortly after I got this shot ...Not sure what the reason for standing like this but maybe its got to do with mating as I think its mating time for them currently. Reminded me of a MeerKat it was so strange a stance for them.

A species I have not photographed this year. Hopefully soon :-)

I am fortunate to have them in abundance..

Nice woody! Finally I drove over 50 miles this morning to get up-close and personal with a wood duck, can't wait to process some pictures tonight.
