There is, or was, a long-eared owl at Village Creek Drying Beds. Were you able to go and get a shot?
I have not heard a thing about it since Wednesday though, it was there about 4 days straight though.

I did. He was hiding in a bunch of weeds & didn't want to bother him. It was one of those deals where ya had to wait for the wind to blow the grass just enough to briefly open a line of sight.

I did see a couple nice shots of him out in the open, but I only went once. I was really surprised by how small it was.
