It was one of those deals where ya had to wait for the wind to blow the grass just enough to briefly open a line of sight. I did see a couple nice shots of him out in the open, but I only went once. I was really surprised by how small it was. I'm glad that you got to at least try. I read the same, that the wind had to blow 'just right' so you could get a shot.
