Nice light & a pretty shot!

I had to stand there and wait for the sun to rise, about 5 minutes, hoping he wouldn't fly off. Never did, in fact he was still sitting there when I loaded up and drove off.

Thank you.

Chickadee and Titmouse are here all year long and never get tired of them. They travel and hang out together around here like they are related yet behave very differently. The titmouse is always carrying on making all kinds of noises while the chickadee is much more laid back.

Agreed with Paul, wonderful little beauties captured.
I too have them year'round. Consider them family.

Thanks MM, the Titmouse is the bird that got me into enjoying and photographing birds, they are such a delight to be around. I can be in the woods and imitate their sounds and they will come around and make all kinds of ruckus. lol

This rare visitor to Canberra has been around for about 7 months now and yesterday i found it had a mate and was seen taking food in to a bush so they may be settling in :-)

I prefer to be in the bush with the animals than a crowded city.

For some reason this "throwaway" shot got really popular on flickr. I don't know why. I almost didn't process it and finish it.
