I still don't know what he caught here. He did battle with it for a long time and managed to tear it up and eat it. He was in a very dark spot and I only took a few shots, expecting them to be rubbish, but watching him I could have sworn it was a fish. Do Coots eat fish?

Anyway, killing time waiting on Poof to get packed.
Took my little everyday everywhere carry the GX8 + PL 100-400 out back.
(at least it's not a Cardinal)

For a while we had nothing but Cardinals. Now we have nothing. Even the Cardinals are gone. It's like every bird vanished.
