Wonderful predator shot, Shalu, but I think that fish is going to be a little tough to swallow. If this guy does manage to swallow it, he's is going to need a long runway for takeoff.

Am Goldfinch (again) They will be gone around the end of January. A flush in the yard revealed probably +100 yesterday. Unreal numbers this year.

Well captured, Mike. Looks like you shot in some overcast lighting, but you captured some good color. The light/shadow under the wings is nice, I'm liking the puffy character of that plumage.

Thank you very much Matt. It was an overcast day, and I used a bit of saturation to give the bird just a bit of color.
