This lazy Peregrine Falcon I watched sitting in the tree for 90 minutes hoping for it to take flight so I could get a launch shot. I went back to my car had a cup of tea and a biscuit came back and he was still in the same place. I waited for another 30 minutes, still no movement. I then went off for an hour to see if I could find more birds then had another cup of tea. Checked out the falcon still there. After 4 hours I gave up, the bird had more patience than me so I went home and had tea.

So, I said to the cormorant, "Could you open your wings out wide... wider... wider...? That's it. Hold it..."

These are small, but the ones out there are far away.

Mr and Mrs Crossbill come down to the puddle to partake in beverages just like my good-self.....taken from the comfort of my car whilst eating fruit cake and drinking a cup of tea.

What a beautiful bird the male pheasant is.

Lots of people shoot them and eat them. I prefer to watch them and photograph them. I'd rather have tea and cake than pheasant. :p

The patience of Jobe!
I've been out waited many times.
I think they are sleeping, just with their eyes closed.
