Sibil, several kingfishers hang around the canal where I dock my boat. I watched them for a few weeks and found a perch where they frequently landed. Then I set up my hunting blind and waited. Even still, it took a while. They are the most frustrating species of bird that I’ve shot. Sometimes, they landed behind me and I could hear them chattering, I swear they were taunting me !  :p

I’ve been following kingfisher leads for quite some time now on ebird without success. I know it’ll come :-)
