Decided to use my old 1ds3 today for a change . This body was released over 11 years ago and I've owned mine for nearly 8 years. It still takes amazing photo's. It has it's limitations, however it's never failed me. I must use it more.

The bird below is a Common Snipe having a stretch.

Took this at f/2 today (Blows the background right out). Not often I use a 200mm Prime to take a photo of a bird. Taken again on my old Canon 1ds MK III.

As much as I hate seeing wildlife cooped up it's a fact of life and some are for a reason. But I imagine these are just imports

Tasmania Zoo is also committed to caring for injured and orphaned wildlife. Some of these animals are unable to be returned to the wild, so as you walk around the zoo, you will meet many of them who all have their very own unique stories.

These are magnificent birds and to see a flock in the wild along with their chicks is quite awesome
