The colour here is all but gone,... Soon the winter white's and gray's will run rampant...... for us up here anyway

Our color hasnt shown up yet. The maples turned, but some just dropped their leaves. My one maple is still bright green. its weird.

Thanks! It's actually a Red-Breasted Nuthatch, about the same size as a Sparrow. No flash. It was scurrying around on heavily shaded trunks and limbs and briefly paused on this well lit perch. The darkened background was a bonus.
