Some wonderful shots in this thread. Here is one I'm proud enough of to contribute.

A couple of ducks found at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge in Kansas. I was messing around and realized I never edited this, so last night I gave it a go. I thought I would like this in B & W, and decided to go more high key with it. I like how it turned out.

These guys make hollows in dirt banks. This guy was taking beak full's of tucker to the hollow so mum must be sitting :-)

The pelicans have returned to their nesting sites here!
Caught this on preening while I was experimenting with stacking two 1.4X converters
(a Tamron and Canon mark I) on my 300mm f/4L. I was pleasantly surprised to capture this much detail with the combo.
