Here are some more Great Horned Owls!

The first picture - 3 owls - I was looking for some Northern Flickers and
suddenly noticed the group of owls!
I had my 300 mm with double converter - which was way too long,
so standing on a big root, I had to remove the converter to be able to take the picture!
At the end, I was very happy with the results!

The 2nd picture - I just got to the lake to go kayaking and noticed 1 of the owlets
sitting on a log! I was close, I could hear the clicking noise they make with their peak!

The 3rd picture was taken from the kayak!

Great owl shots.

Super nice Robert. The kite is really attractively posed, and perch is a great addition to the overall composition of this attractive shot.

Shooz, did you steal on of Tom's perches!
Ha! Beautiful imgage!

:p That’s funny, because when I saw that picture, it reminded me of one of Tom’s . He’s definitely the King of Perches ! If you look in the background, you can see the Flicker’s mate on another tree.

Thank you very much, Archibald!

I see you are from Calgary!
