I like the 2nd perspective the best, Mike. It's a very attractive shot.
Thanks Mike! There's quite a difference between 200mm and 600mm on my crop-sensor Canon.

There's quite a difference between 200mm and 600mm on my crop-sensor Canon. I'm a big fan of the crop sensor (APS-C) cameras, Mike. I just recently got a full frame Canon 1DX II. I do like it, but I find myself using my crop sensor 7DII most of the time. LD, or Mike

Lame-Duck I have indeed had pine nuts More info | Jul 03, 2019 18:55 | #44680 fotoi wrote in post #18887894 Mike, what do you plan to use the 1DX II for? Nice camera by the way. Thank you Fotoi. I really like the 1DX II for birds in flight. When I go out shooting for a whole day, I always take two cameras. I'll set the 1DX II up with a 100- 400 mm zoom for BIF, and the 7DII with a 1.4 TC on my 400 mm DO II f/4. This will be used for all of my static bird shots. I tend to like to put this one on a tripod. When I was a bit younger and tougher, I liked to put a 500 mm f/4 Canon lens on the crop camera with a 1.4 TC for a magnification equivalency of 1120 mm. Now a days that's a real chore. I don't do it that often anymore. LD, or Mike
