This Eurasian Curlew is no.34. It is one of several that were saved and raised by WWT Slimbridge and released into the Wild.
The Eggs were found near Military Runways and would normally have to be destroyed under an individual licence to protect flight safety. Because these birds have declined so much a conservation project was put in place to save them and to help rejuvenate the population.
