Thank you Paul. Woodpeckers are pretty neat critters, except for folks who have houses and cabins up in the foothills where woodpeckers are abundant.
I'm told they can do some pretty major destruction to these dwellings. There are numerous acorn woodpeckers within 10 minutes of my house, but I've never seen any in my neighborhood.
