A Cooper's hawk landed in the yard yesterday morning. I used the 1dx Mark II with the 400mm f2.8 Mk III. I used it at 400mm, 800mm and for the first time with video I stacked 1.4x and 2x extenders for 1120mm. I worked fairly well, lost a little detail but still very usable. Both shots really came out nice, Rob. I'm especially surprised at the IQ of the 1120mm image. You definitely have a steady hand. I watched several of the videos and they are beautifully done.
