Cool shot, Shalu!! This image reminds me of the "karate kid" using the crane pose in the movie, "The Karate Kid," ha, ha, ha.

Thank you very much, Mike! :-P:lol: This one flew in with one landing gear only and stood on only one leg after. I was wondering whether it lost a leg.

There's been a flock of about 150 cedar waxwings in the honeysuckle bushes every morning this week across the street for work. I got some with my old 50D today...makes me miss my 7D but its returns from Canon Saturday

Geoff, terrific shots, makes one wonder why we replace our equipment on a regular basis just to keep up with technology.:-)

Beautifully photographed, Richard! It is an attractive looking cormorant.

thanks Mike, much appreciated. They were once very much maligned by me but they are actually quite attractive, as you say.

Very nice capture, Richard. Your blurred background is great. It makes the bird stand out nicely.

Those are beautiful images, Geoff. Nice work. The cedar waxwings Have always been my favorite birds that visit our neighborhood.

Thanks! They never come down low enough in my neighborhood so finding them just off the ground at work was a good surprise.
