This is one of the adults of the Rosella group I came across in Canberra this week. One of the juveniles in this group was posted a few images back.
Only thing I regret with this capture of the adult is I missed part of his lower tail feather tip in the frame although I figured colors and pose may just help overcome this distraction at least enough for it to be semi ok

I agree 100%. They take forever to find, however being able to see them hunt/ act naturally is awesome
