You are welcome, it's very well deserved! Every time I want to post something to this thread (or any) I think to myself... "Here... Let me post my poop to this thread and sully it up with it's feculence... " Gee willikers, I don't think I can get things that sharp WITH a tripod while taking a picture of a stationary object... Your pictures are excellent... Demotivating, but excellent... :)

if anything they should be just that much MORE MOTIVATING then anything. use them as a bar or challenge to sharpen your skillset. Thats how I look at fellow photographers who are excellent. we all have to start somewhere. My first bird photos are TERRIBLE in comparison to what im shooting today, and its all about pushing yourself

Practice - practice - practice is the key also treat your photos as art and in your editing tool, get to know every inch of it and just keep practicing.

I think you can do every bit what I do,... I do spend way to much time trying to get better. Anytime you wish to know what I'm doing all you need do is ask, I'm an open book,.. Good and bad lol
I shot this from a Ameristep-Doghouse blind, Like $120. At about 8 feet with the 70-200 f4 because it was so over cast snowing and dark. But the evenings come when they come so ya shoot. Honestly its the best light to shoot these guys and there yellow on black with super bright white. Tough bird all around.

What ever you do post your crap... I do lol. Just ask these guys what I've made them look at over the years. lol

Great Grey Owl photographed just before sunset. I thought I was never going to see one that day after searching for eight hours. Your mind starts to play tricks on you hoping to spot the owl...
