May 15, 2020 20:17 | #60340 Lame-Duck wrote in post #19063144 Shooter, I'm glad you're enjoying it. In my opinion, bird photography is the most challenging of any of the different kinds of photography that I've attempted. And it still is. That's why I like it so much. With bird photography, you often have very little time to get the shot. You have to be able to shoot a bird in all different kinds of lighting conditions, and do it very quickly, with precision. I love the challenge, but I sure goof up a lot. One of the most important things that has helped me, is customizing my camera settings for speed.I was just watching some videos and they mentioned custom buttons set specifically for their bird set ups.... been thinking about it how I want to set it up. Happy Shooting - Jamey

kd_reno Goldmember More info | May 15, 2020 21:14 | #60341 Got an email yesterday morning saying this beauty had shown up at a local park. Took a while, but I managed to get a decent shot. There are a few records in southern Nevada, but I think this is the first one in Washoe County. This morning there were two! Seen a little time trying fro some more pics, but had to dash off on an unsuccessful search for a reported Ovenbird. IMAGE LINK: https://www.flickr.com …538/in/dateposted-public/Hooded Warbler Ken
