What a great capture, Richard!! It's sharp as a tack. This gal kind of looks like the one I call Trudy, but I'm not positive.-?

Wow...what nice captures, Paul (both shots)!

You come up with the greatest wood duck shots, fotoi! This one is so nice!

Very nice shot of a unique looking sparrow, Bill!

This shot is absolutely gorgeous, Bill. Did you use water colors or oil paint do do the bird? :p

Excellent, Rob!

Two great shots here, Mike! I especially like the shot of the snowy egret with prey.

Beautiful, fotoi! It's all in the water.! You are truly a master at creating these effects!

Thank you muchly Mike.

Uniquely beautiful. Love the low down setting and reflections.

Lovely bird Mike, Phoebe - nice name too :-P
Very nice composition. They're a striking small bird admirably shown off here.

Beautiful colours, pose and composition Bill
Very nice
I looked them up. Certainly beautiful but different birds.

What an encounter. Daresay fascinating to watch.
The details in the second image is incredible. Very nice shot of a proud looking Hawk.

Many thanks Neal, Mike and Paul. Much appreciate your comments.
Mike I'll check that out and see if she responds to Trudy. :-P

Many thanks Richard.

What a nice compliment, Richard. I really appreciate it, and thank you kindly. It took me awhile to get used to the name, "phoebe." My wife liked that name and wanted to name our daughter Phoebe. I had to put my foot down and say no on that one. We settled on Kimberly.:-)

I'll be curious to see if my little gal responds to Trudy. :p

Fledgling Long Tailed Tit's

awesome little bird
I just watched a video of these building a nest, another feeding the young ones.
They are beautiful little birds as your photos show really well.
I learnt a lot from that - thanks for posting such endearing beauties
