Mike I'd say you do very well to get a shot of a Quail in that pose and low angle. If they're anything like our Quail that disappear in a mad whirring.

Despite that it's a really nice, low down shot of an intriguing bird.

Well done.

I suppose once they would have been fit for the table (plate) only :-)

Thank you so much Richard. Your kind compliment is greatly appreciated. Quail everywhere are such spooky birds. The slightest fast movement sends them off in a flurry. I love the challenge of shooting them with a camera, but I also love having a couple on my dinner plate.
