Until very recently I worked at Canon Virginia and just before I left I was talking to the group leader of the lens department and he was telling me how awesome this lens is. He's not one to go out and use it, but from a sharpness and reliability point of view, he was really impressed (and he's not easily impressed LOL). I actually was asking him about the 100-400 II and he brought up this lens. Your images really seem to confirm the IQ of it. Jeff
