Great capture, Mike, nice timing ~~

Thank you SYS! When I snapped the shot, I had no idea that the image looked kind of weird.

That’s quite a look! Great photo though.

Thank you fotoi. This particular jay has quite a personality. He can be pretty entertaining.

That's hilarious Mike, nice shot.

Many thanks, Paul. This bird hangs around our house a lot, and I find him quite entertaining.

great job maintaining detail with a 2.0 TC
colors and composition are excellent

Thanks Jimmy_racoon. I'm impressed how well the 2.0 TC works with the 100-400mm on the R5

To me, this Eurasian Hoopoe is an unusual, but beautiful looking bird. Nice capture, Neal!

Thank you Mike. Its just the once I saw it, lucky to shoot, let me get quite close, and since then its not come back. Least I haven't seen it since.

Our Tasmanian Native Hens have bred profusely and the two resident 'pets' near the house have 4 chickens.
They are quite used to my presence and a real pleasure to watch
Every now and then a parent makes a low grunt and a chick runs up to grab whatever is on offer - they eat grass.
