The protected sanctuary in dubai is still closed to the public due to upgrades and the municipality can't even tell me when they will open. Its the best time of year I had been hoping to spend most my staycation visiting that as all the migratory birds will be in.  Thank you, 4matic! Same here, reserves are still closed. But I found this small colony of flamingos and other shore birds on a distant beach that I can reach by kayak. The waters are getting cold, though. Hard to stay wet in the wind while trying to get closer to the birds.
