If it wasn't for the bit of grass stuck in its beak I'd have accused you of photographing a stuffed bird! So close up.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Pippan this was close indeed.
I walked into the paddock where the 6 were and got pretty close then sat down in grass and watched them.
This one took a bee-line towards me and kept chomping its way on the grass until it was about 2 metres from me.
This isn't at it's closest
