Thanks, LD!! All I can say is thank goodness for LR and Topaz DeNoise. The bird was at distance, surrounded by a snowy field, with early morning bright sun perpendicular to its left shoulder. As a result, half the owl was almost bleached out, while the other was extremely dark. Software saved an image of the owl I'd been searching for for 9 days.
