When I see this species looking like this it reminds me why they're called Superb Fairy Wrens whilst others can be more colourful these stand out IMO. I went out with my camera this morning with the sole intention of finding a great picture to post for my 1000th post! Not very successfully unfortunately but I did manage to find this Blur Tit!  Up until March this year the only flying things I had photographed were aeroplanes! With the arrival of Lockdown here in the UK this website and all the stunning pictures posted here in the Birds Forum have completely transformed how and why I take photographs... and saved my sanity!
