Thanks Bill. These were taken by a wetlands area that was preserved for flood control purposes. It's surrounded by houses and a hike/bike path. So there's some great habitat, but the birds are used to human activity. More importantly, there are no overhead wires, so the Kestrels are forced to perch in trees.
