Red Bellied Woodpecker
This is a first for me, to actually capture the red belly on a Red-bellied Woodpecker

Nice work capturing the red belly ..... doing so pretty much requires you to shoot full frontal nudity on the Woodpecker.

That reminds me of another Woodpecker species, the Williamson's Sapsucker. . It is equally challenging to get images that showcase the bright yellow on their bellies. . But when you can capture it, it makes the extra work worthwhile.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

This girl was up in a slash pine over the water right above my car, scanning for fish. I got out and propped up on the hood and snapped away. She could care less. I think this is the closest I've ever been to one when not in a blind.
What a beauty.
