Except for dead landscape plants, the extreme cold we had including snow, is just a memory now. Blue jay on the snow.

Bill,

That extreme cold you had was something that I would consider a huge blessing. . Photos of birds in ice and snow are so beautiful, compared to photos of birds not in ice and snow

I see people complain sometimes about cold winter weather, and I don't understand that. . Ice and snow and cold are beautiful, and nature photographers are supposed to be all about natural beauty, right?

I'm glad that you got an opportunity to get so many beautiful photos of birds in winter conditions. . From what I understand, that is a bit rare for you to get such opportunities, so it's great to see that you made the most of a special opportunity.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

We don't mind the cold/snow down here but our homes aren't built for nor our landscapes planted for temps near zero or below freezing for days on end. That causes many problems for us. Also, our energy grid has a difficult time with those temps.
