they start showing up for me towards the end of April, beginning of May and the males are full yellow, the females are a very light yellow, by the time they leave, end of September, mid October they have made their change

Very nice captures! Not sure if you were aware but the second one is a Lesser Scaup. The Ringed-Necked Duck has white markings on the bill.
