Beautiful bird, Mark...very nice shot!

Excellent shot, Borbet! Very sharp.

Wow...a white goshawk! This is truly a gorgeous bird. I didn't even know they existed, Richard. This truly is a beautiful hawk. Very nice capture, for sure!

Nice scrub-jay shots, PinholeR5! I get a kick out of watching the jays and the mockingbirds play chasing games with each other in the trees along my street. It sure looks like they're having a good time.

Marvelous capture, Dave! Very nicely composed!

Super nice shot, Ed! That's an angry eagle, if I ever saw one.

Terrific shot of this wood duck, fotoi! Great pose and a beautiful setting.

Nice shot, Ed! It looks like this one has a bit of a kink in it's neck.:-)

Gorgeous shot, Rob! Love the lighting.

Thanks Mike. These were on a trail and I did see two of them flying back and forth.

Interesting bird.
Strange and very large feet

The Kea the world's only mountain parrot, is unique to NZ and is a VERY smart bird, and it likes to keep itself in prime condition with a regular bath. I caught this one in the act, heading for a refreshing dip!
An was rewarded with a flash of its bright red under-wing plumage, so different from it's green-brown normal display

Trevor these are exceptional birds.
Always enjoy seeing your more exclusive and beautiful birds
Very nicely photographed

Thank you so much for your kind feedback! Sadly we don't have much in the way of macro mammals, but our bird life is definitely unique! :-)

Super captures! Love the sharpness and clarity. These little birds move so quick sometimes it is difficult to get a shot.
