Soon the yard will explode with what I call the spring and summer crowed. My version is Geoff's Park and its still new and up and coming. Starting to get some birds coming back in and we should be starting to get the spring warblers shortly here. We are supposed to get almost 3" of RAIN tomorrow afternoon, so i might have to switch to landscapes and water for a day or so. M50 | RP | 5Dc | 7D

I saw them at the Orlando Wetlands, Circle B Bar, Viera, and in spades at the Stick Marsh. Birds move around. There used to be lots of spoonies at Merritt Island, but I have heard there are few there any more. It's similar with other species. The Anhinga Trail used to be fantastic, crowded with birds, alligators and big white lenses - but no more. But other locations are still good. I've asked and nobody has a good explanation for these changes. Funny thing. Ed, I meant in my post that haven't seen many if any spoonies in the south where I live and frequent local wetlands. We did indeed see a bunch on our excursion in central FL. But they've been scarce here in the south this year, when there were a bunch of them around last year at this time. A group of us regulars were just talking about this last week- between all of us we have been to most of the usual places and not seen many, if at all. Ed

But tomorrow is 20c and sunny, warmest day this year so far. Its good having a Jeff's Park no matter how you spell it. Jeff ........, 7D, 70-300L, 100-400LII

So today I am coming home from the store, stopped at the light to turn into my development. And one flew overhead!! Towards my house! But I didn't see it again after the light changed. But it was ONE, at least!! Yeah, OK, the places where I saw them were all in central FL. Canon R5 and R7, assorted Canon lenses, Sony RX100, Pentax Spotmatic F
