Thank you. Yes, its a chickadee. They're hard to catch because they don't sit still very long. ;-)a

When I saw the shot I was thinking how lucky you were to get it to sit still for you.

Haha! Put a feeder or two out and fill them with sunflower seeds. You'll be amazed at what shows up. :)

I started doing this, a feeder with solely shelled sunflowers, and holy cow, you are right! all kinds of stuff started showing with just that feeder

Wow! You use SHELLED sunflower seeds! Your birds are spoiled. :) the other day I saw:

Northern Cardinal
Blue Jay
Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
Dark Eyed Junko
White Crowned Sparrow
Hairy Woodpecker
Downey Woodpecker
Red Bellied Woodpecker

Others that I'm forgetting off the top of my head.

I go to Home Depot and get 40 pound bags of black oil seeds $23 plus tax. :)

:-D We feed our birds with peanuts, black sunflower seeds, sunflower hearts (shelled), striped sunflower seeds and a robin food mix!

What is black oil seed? Is it nigella?

From a recent walk in the woods. He kept jumping from tree to tree in front of me, but not flying off.

I did this to test the reach of my flash and Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX APO DG OS HSM with Sigma 2X Teleconverter EX APO DG. Happy with the results, but I've since gotten the AF microadjustment corrected and get better results.
