Often I have to crop my photographs, this is one of the very few that has not been cropped. I was able to get very close to this Common Redshank.

A pair of Northern Cardinals raised three chicks in a nest in our Red Tops in the back yard. They have been feeding on seeds, outside my home office window. They are close, but in deep shade and through a UV coated, double pane window. Still, irresistible. These are handheld, slightly cropped and run through Neat Image.

Mom, looking right at me. She was drinking water from that little leaf in the foreground. About 4 meters distance.
