Thanks, every once in a while I do get lucky. Drove past her, backed up, jumped out then had to change the lens. Stumbled down into the ditch on the opposite side of the road trying to hide my approach and through it all I'm sure I was watched. Excellent image! I would clone out that branch growing out of it at the right & then print it life size for my wall! FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...

OhLook insufferably pedantic. I can live with that. 24,926 posts Gallery: 105 photos Best ofs: 2 Likes: 16366 Joined Dec 2012 Location: California: SF Bay Area More info | Jul 29, 2017 11:03 | #10195 PhotosGuy wrote in post #18414035 Excellent image! I would clone out that branch growing out of it at the right & then print it life size for my wall! Another opinion: The branch isn't so prominent. It's one among many streaks in an almost evenly textured background. Only the light-toned segment on a level with the owl's eyes catches my attention. Darkening just that part might do the job. PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | Comments welcome
