Super shots. I had an Ovenbird around my feet once - an unforgettable experience.

Wagtail on a roof in carp weather.

Not bad considering, but, yes, the weather does look a bit this.

Just really dull some heavy clouds and even using spot metering made no difference, diddn't have time to boost the EC, tried to do this in post.

Wow!! Outstanding. In my travels I've only seen two Ovenbirds and didn't get an acceptable shot of either one. Again, great shot!

Great shots.... you must have almost been close enough to touch them. I always liked the 15-85 when I had one, though, Canon has come up with some nice alternatives in recent years.

Two of the three, yes I could have touched them. They are interested in free lunches from the people throwing fish to the sea lions so they have become somewhat accustomed to humans. I don't use my 15-85 much but for this trip to FL, it seemed like a good choice and worked out pretty well. I rarely wanted wider but always wanted longer. But with limited space, I only to my 30mm prime, 70-200 F4 L and this. Oddly enough, this trip made me want to upgrade my old Sigma 30mm...

Thanks for the kind words...

Very nice ! Perfectly exposed and I like the contrast with the blue.

Thanks a lot for your comment :-)
