Tons of wind and rain last night, birds were all disheveled and out of sorts today, didn't get too many visits. I'm still working on getting a clear shot of this juvenile Sapsucker, one of the most shy birds I've come across yet (aside from Kingfisher, hawks and owls), a master of putting a twig between itself and the camera... just look at that camouflage though!

Awesome find! He could give an owl a run for camo money. I never would have spotted this one.

Good on yer mate. Seen plenty of the birds and plenty of burrows but never got close enough for them to been seen outside of one
