Beautiful shot of the kestrel. They rarely cooperate.

Both the Coal Tit and Blue Tit squabbled for the prime position on the twig, the smaller Coal Tit won and so the Blue Tit quickly retreated.

This beautiful little Goldcrest decided to come out of the tree and flew down to the puddle to take a drink, luckily he stayed still for a second giving me enough time to capture him.

I saw this beautiful tiny Marsh tit today. I like to read up on the birds I see out of interest. It surprised me to read that the Marsh Tit is on the RSBP Red list as it's numbers are sadly declining.

Today I went to a Wood local to me. I was not expecting to see much...However.... I was surprised to see 11 different types of birds. Unfortunately the treecreeper shots were not in focus. Not all days are like this so I am well pleased.

A Very noisy Great Spotted Woodpecker and a blackbird with a black bill which was unusual as it was with 3 others with yellow/orange bills seen today.
