Funny pose...

Used 1.4xTC first time...all pics came out very soft...it must be me, have to give it few more tries before deciding...these pics were sharpened...

Try upping the shutter speed - to around 1/600 s at least.

I am, by no means, and expert at anything related to photography. But, you should try to have your shutter speed at or above your zoom length with long lenses. Notice, I said "try" not "have to..." Yes, IS helps but not if the subject is moving... Only if YOU are moving...

Thanks will keep that in mind during next visit, I think IS must also be the factor as you said... I was using a monopod with IS on, shou have tried with off.
