I've not shot birds in months. But yesterday it was a sunny day and I found a robin willing to pose.

Beautiful! How sure is the focus with the lens + 2X focusing on the 1D IV? I've used the 1.4X and 300 f4L IS on my 7D, but focus is slow.
I'm assuming the 1D IV would probably focus more quickly?
