Hi all,

I have recently decided i want to get a peli case for my new camera but am having issues with sizes. Can anyone help me out here?

I have a Sony A6000, 18-105 f/4 G-series lens, 3x batteries, a few SD cards and the charger i would like to fit in there. I wouldn't mind a little more space spare for when i get my adapter so i could use my Bower 8mm on there too.

not a clue to be honest.
I like the look of the 1120 but i think it would be too small? (seem quite cheap on the bay here in the UK)

Pelican 1200 or higher? It will give you room to grow in future if you get little bigger case.

Lay your gear out.
Leave an inch between pieces.
Tape around the area you have the gear on - at least an inch out from the gear.

Measure the size of the taped off area.

Buy pelican case with the closest dimensions to the taped area.

Pelican cases are a pain in the ass - they are heavy, bulky and difficult to carry (compared to a bag)
They are solid though, and are great if you need the waterproof protection, dustproofing, or protection from baggage handlers.
If you truly need the protection, there is no better solution.

Possibly a bit late for you, but Maplins do a peli case rip off for £40. I've used mine for about 6 years and still going strong. I have a 1 series with a 300 f2.8 and 1.4x converter mounted and 17-24 f4, 50L, and 70-200 f2.8 in there. Snug but fits
