They are quite tough. This set apart, the younger generation sometimes finds some specimens that got stored in the attic and forgotten. These little jewels happen to go on sale for next to nothing. That's also true of the SRT 303. The small mirror shock-absorber gets brittle over time, but otherwise not much goes wrong with it.

If you press the button while cocking the film advance, it resets the shutter without advancing the film to the next frame. I used to mess with it on my old TLb. Just shut up and smile...
