Thanks everybody, out here the Snowy's aren't hard to find if you know where to look, the GHO's stay more hidden and are harder to find but are pretty calm when found. I was having a hard time getting him to look at me, I was talking to him and scuffing my feet but he wasn't cooperating. Bashful I guess!

Nice shot. GHOs are common here too, but in the past 5 years, I've seen 5. Two on nests(have not returned since that season) one random sighting on the road, and one that I found dying and tried to get it help(didn't make it). The difficulty has made them a favorite subject of mine, with no luck. Glad you did better than me!
