Just a small globular springtail picking its way through the raindrops on the handle of the recycling bin in the garden. 70D, Venus 60mm, f/8, ISO 100, 1/200sec.

Is that lens only a 2:1 magnification? If so I am amazed that (what I guess) such a heavily cropped photo looks so good. Is it stacked?
Has anyone used both this lens and the Canon MPE? How do they compare?

This is a single shot - I don't often do any stacking. The IQ of the Venus is very impressive for the money.

Paul.
