This glacier-fed stream twisted and turned its way down the mountain, carving a path through an unbelievable array of beautiful wildflowers. This spot was one of my favorites during my weeklong backpacking trip in the Pacific Range.

You're right.
Didn't even think about it being the bottom of a wing.
It's been a long day.
Any flying that I've done has been on planes where it's only the top of the wing you see out the window.

Mmm nope just me, lol I started with the 16mm before the sun was even starting to come up, then the 24-70mm, then as the light changed i put the 100-400LII on to get this tight shot. and this is what I came out with. it just so happened that the sun light hit the right trees and made the shot.

Beautiful! I especially love the soft mist in the BG on shot 2. Did you use a little fill flash on the shot? The balance between FG and BG is terrific!

Hi Sam, thanks for the kind words. I didn't use flash, but this was taken right on the edge of the woods and the natural light made the foreground look bright. I needed to darken it down as it was too light for my liking.

I really need to get back there with my DSLR. When I used to live in the area, I only had a 2MP point and shoot camera to take photos with (and very little skill)
