Adobe has said that CS6 will be sold "indefinitely" but don't expect updates for bug fixes or new features/functionality. Pretty much what you get is what you'll have.

I believe all you get is updates for bug fixes and such. No new cameras will be added to camera raw. I still get updates from time to time so something is getting fixed.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

They did the last Camera Raw update in June 2015 and advised it'd be the last. I think any updates (if any for bug fixes) will be coming to an end.

Agreed. It certainly can work for your needs but does nothing for future growth and expandability.

CS6 is done but it doesn't mean it won't do the trick. I still use it and have no intention of stopping.
