C.E.S. Starts Tommorrow Jan 6 2016. What will we see from Canon?

I feel like we usually have a leak or bonafide press release a few days before C.E.S. .. what gives?

It is a well-kept secret, but Canon will be announcing the 6DII at CES.

Same sensor.
Upgraded Image processor.
1/8000 max shutter.
1/250 sync.
DPAF, and all that entails.
70D style AF, improved.
WTH, throw in a 17-40 STM.

Ok, that was wishful thinking. Maybe they'll announce a 5DIV, which will allow me to get a 5DIII I can afford. How about DPAF on a full frame body?

I just tried to search the CES website, and either I can't get the search to work, or there is NOTHING listed from Canon.

Over 500 entries in the calendar, i was not going to read it all for a "manual" search for "Canon"

I went to the "Full Schedule" and searched Canon. Nothing. Seems strange.

Just for grins I searched for Nikon - zippo, nothing at all. Not impressed with the site design either. Maybe it will tighten up tomorrow.

a couple powershots...maybe a new ef-m lens...nothing to get excited over...

i bet the first DSLR they announce this year will be a replacement to the 70D

That would be a bit of a let down considering that the 1Dx and 5D3 are both on peoples minds. Haven't heard anyone longing for an 80D (or is that pronounced 8-DD )

this is the CONSUMER Electronics Show, doesn't seem like we have seen even Pro-sumer announcements out of Canon at this event???

Isn't "A.D.D." a default setting on the 7D2 AF system, where it won't settle down on a single target but just keeps jumping around?

No, it is description of my 6-year-old grandson. WHERE THE HECK IS THE OFF BUTTON ON THIS KID!?!?!?!?
