Just wondering is there a source of Profoto replacement batteries or aftermarket batteries for the discontinued Acute B 600?

If it's not the Life version you can easily get a replacement battery to recell the unit, I think it's a 12V 5AH unit.

Not sure how it works with the Life version.

I recelled my AcuteB classic for $22 using the following SLA: Power-Sonic PSH-1255F2-FR. "H" refers to high discharge capability which is essential for AcuteB operation. "F2" refers to the type of terminal contact, also essential. "1255" specifies the battery voltage (12V) and dimensions, all essential. After getting the new battery, you move the metal carrier (so-called cartridge) by loosening the four screws with a hex key. Note the hot lead before disconnecting. :)

Power-Sonic and clone versions are available on Amazon. Power-Sonic has an excellent web site.

Canon, Nikon, Contax, Leica, Sony, Profoto.

I recelled mine and have an extra SLA both are 12V6AH. The extra AH helps.
